🏰 Rosenborg Castle (⭐ 4.6) — A stunning 17th-century castle set in beautiful gardens, home to the Danish Crown Jewels. Plan at least 1–2 hours inside, and time your visit for the changing of the guard at noon.

🏛️ Christiansborg Palace (⭐ 4.6) — Uniquely houses Denmark’s parliament, the PM’s office, and the Supreme Court under one roof. The free tower offers the best panoramic views in the city, and medieval castle ruins lie beneath it.

🌿 The King’s Garden (⭐ 4.6) — The lovely park surrounding Rosenborg Castle, open daily from 7am. Perfect for a relaxed stroll or a picnic, especially in summer.

🎨 Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek (⭐ 4.6) — A world-class museum with an outstanding collection spanning Egyptian, Greek, Roman, and French Impressionist art. Free on Sundays, and the winter garden inside is magical.

🏰 Amalienborg Palace (⭐ 4.5) — The current royal residence. Arrive by noon to watch the famous changing of the guard ceremony.

🗼 The Round Tower (⭐ 4.5) — A 17th-century observatory with a unique helical ramp leading to panoramic city views. Open daily 10am–8pm.

🧜 The Little Mermaid (⭐ 4.1) — Copenhagen’s beloved and iconic bronze statue, free to visit on the waterfront. Go early morning to avoid crowds.

🏺 National Museum of Denmark (⭐ 4.5) — Free entry and packed with Viking treasures, Danish history, and interactive exhibits. Budget at least 3–5 hours.

A handy tip: many of these are clustered together, so you can easily combine Rosenborg Castle, the King’s Garden, and the Round Tower in one half-day on foot!
